    Cartridge opinions?

27" 6 Dasher barrel and what ever bullet the barrel likes . Right now mine like the 105 Barts BT and a couple 108 Berger BT lot #'s. I just could never keep a 6 BR in tune.

Dennis, Thanks I looked on PMA Tool website and you were right they did look nice . I ordered a set but was wondering if the Superfeet I use will work with the PMA leg screws. What caliber to use for 600 yards when keeping barrel length under 21'' ?

I'm thinking your initial idea would be correct . The 6 BR would be hard to beat . However the 6.5 Grendel or 6/6.5 Grendel would work especially if you already have a PPC boltface. Stick with powders on the faster side for the shorter barrel . I'm thinking like maybe XBR 8208 or there abouts...

    Want opinions

For the front bag on my Farley I like to use the black sand that can be purchased at Tractor Supply . I think it goes by the trade name "Black Diamond" . The granules are more jagged and they don't pack so hard and tight like other sands but I've never tried the pet store sands either. Also...

    The Newer light gun record..................

    The Newer light gun record..................

Thanks... Thanks guys . I don't think anyone was more surprised than myself that I would have shot a group like that today. But it was a pleasant surprise. When my first target in LG measured 2.8" and was shot in what I thought was pretty decent conditions I was thinking about what other guns I...

    220 Russian - 220 Beggs - 22 PPC

The 220 Beggs worked out great for me as I had bought a bunch of the IMR XBR 8208 for my 6 PPC's and never could get the 6 PPC to shoot with the XBR like the first bottle I had of the stuff. Anyway Benchmark had been my go to powder for the 220 Beggs and I had heard that XBR was a off spec batch...

Bore Gel solvent or gel suggestions

I incorrectly listed the Hoppe's mixture in my earlier post . I had it backwards . It is : Mix 2/3 rds. Hoppes No. 9 Plus Black Powder solvent with 1/3rd. Regular Hoppes No. 9 Nitro solvent. Let this mixture set overnight and it will form a sort of gel that adheres very well to the brush and...

Bore Gel solvent or gel suggestions

The Hoppe's Black Powder Solvent is not a get until it is mixed with the regular Hoppe's #9 then it turns into a gel and actually gets thicker over time. Just wanted to make sure if I wasn't clear on what I posted before . Good luck, Rodney

Bore Gel solvent or gel suggestions

I have used a mixture of 3 parts Hoppe's #9 and 1 part Hoppe's Black Powder Solvent . When mixed the two solvents form a gel that works quite well for getting the "coal" out of barrel. Rodney
