Have you thought about UBR? A lot of fun and very competitive!

Yep! I just turned 67 and still climb 12/12 roofs (no I don't like it) but that's my job (insurance adjuster). I tell all the young guys if I fall I'll splatter and not bounce like them, the ol bones just won't take it. I'm moving more into flood work so I don't have to climb roofs. Living...

Mikes a good guy! Look me up as i'll be there too, glad to help any way we can. On my gun while cleaning it I have a "cover" that says shooter13 so I'm easy to spot!!

You are asking for a catastrophic failure if you anneal the entire case. Not my opinion, it is fact!

8 twist? Going to try UBR factory class with the Savage 12 8 benchrest gun 8 twist barrel, I have the 107 SMK and 68 GN FB Barts, any recommendations on powder and grains? I'm going to range tomorrow with Varget 28.3 GNs for the 107s, may try 31 gns for the 68 barts.

Have you tried the insert (not a straw) in the chargemaster? It really helped mine, I get much more consistent throws now. It is not perfect but is much better!

Thanks for this update! I know it wasn't for me but the guy is only 2.5 hours away and I'm getting back in to bench rest and need all the info I can get! I have a new (old) Hall receiver with a 6PPC barrel and jewel trigger, I'll have to see what it would be to chamber in 6.5 CM (or not)
