Can I rechamber my Ruger 77 300 win mag to a 300 RUM by just running a RUM reamer in? Assuming my ruger 77 is a safe action to bump up to a RUM... Any info would be appreciated

Long Barrel Joe, if i remember yr barrel is on the longer side 26" or better, so why not do it, knock a inch or 2 off and re chamber it, you have the equipment and time.

I use Kelbys Rings and bases. Cant beat them in my book. Call Ian he will fix you up.

I am looking to get a new barrel and was all set on getting a 8 twist for 95-108 bullets and seen 7.5 twist, anyone have one of those, how does it shoot? Im assuming its for heavy long 6mm bullets for which I really amy not gonna use with my standard 6BR build. Any info would be great James

Can a premier bumped scope be removed and reinstalled? I have a VX III 6x20 bumped to 18x40 installed on the tube, looks like it just screwed inline on scope. Can they be easly removed and reinstalled on a scope. Thanks

I have used alot of what the others have with all good sucess, also tried some Varget around the 32.5gr area and it shot very good also. I have lots of Varget since I use it in my 6BR, 22-250 and 308's. Good luck with a super fun cartridge.

I know what your talking about RG Ive shot 23x's with a Savage and people for years told me they wouldnt compete,lol. Thanks for all the good BIB bullets over the years. Joe deffinately puts his time in behind the trigger, and he shoots good at all the different types of formats, group, score...

Maybe I should call him and offer to test his trigger for him, I shoot prob 4000 rounds a year in different forms of competion with my savages,lol. I shoot a Jewell that he setup for me and to be honest I like it. But if Fred makes one for a Savage I will own his and never look back.
