Has anyone compared one to the usual suspects such as Pentax 100mm or the various top end 80mm scopes? I will be looking at a new scope soon for spotting 6mm bullet holes at 600yds.

I think you might have your measurements mixed up. 10mm in base to ogive is .400" or nearly 1/2 inch while 3mm is still .120". Either of these measurements would cause MAJOR problems in different points of impact.

Jay, I didn't want to go with the bigger barrel unless there would be some benefit. I think the heavy guns get enough ooohhhs and aarrhhss as it is. Like you say, if most of the top heavy guns are 1.450", then there is probably a reason for it. Could it be the barrel being too rigid makes it...

I did a much less scientific study than this when I was much younger. I found that if you propelled the cat downwards very very quickly, it could not spin around fast enough and still landed on its back.

My experience with them has been very good as well. I will certainly get more brakes and tuners from them.
