    Wilbur please...

Well Dave... if you are right, the media will then stop covering gun related crimes to give the populace the illusion that no guns = no more dead people, sort of the opposite of what they do now in over emphasizing gun related crime and providing only one sided reports. Lets hope you are wrong.

How Many Same Rifle BR Guys

Stephen.. I still have and shoot, although I have others, my first gun. It was a used polished Panda in 6 PPC that once was owned by Hal Tolland. I had it rebuilt into a 30BR heavy score rifle in about 2000. The only thing original about the gun now is the action. Lovely shooter. I have an old...

    HBR cartridge

Yes among others, the 30x44 based on 300 savage case. my suggestion is to go with the necked up 6.5x47 case or you can get a reamer cut to 30x45 or 46, use a 30BR FL die to push the shoulders back, neck expand then fireform. This is not a bad way to go if you like a lot of case prep work. Good...

I have a Nikon 82mm ED 45 degree spotter. I bought the scope from the widow of a deceased fellow shooter. It came with 5 eyepieces and a nice case. The scope, howerver, was extremely hard to focus...the rubber ring in the center that performs this function was very hard to turn...as if...

Dick, 721's and 722's are quite common and not yet what you would call a collector item. Maybe someday? They are pretty plane jane and utilitarian.

    rem-.270 1955

Well, depending on caliber its probably either a model 721 (long action)...30-06, 300 H&H etc., or a 722 (short action)...308, 300 savage, 257 roberts and others. Either one is a fine action and every bit as good as a 700 imho. Value, if a plain jane 721 or 722 perhaps 400-450 tops.

    primers

Dick.. what about hunter benchrest? until the advent of the Lapua 6.5x47 case with small primer and some who used the small primer 30 american case for the aardvark virtually all 30 caliber hunter cartridges were large primer cases...300 savage for the 30-44, 308 Win, 308 Win shortened to...

How Do I Adjust these Mounts?

Turn the hex caps clockwise to unlock, then adjust windage and elevation with the 2 knurled blued wheels under locks. Hint, they seem to freeze easily so use a bit of penetrating oil first.

    Prices of handguns are amazing . . . .

Stopped at kittery trading post on way back from thurmont. .22 rimfire ammo that cost 15 bucks 6 months ago is 25 now...and commodity prices for lead and brass are down. its the panic buying and good ol american capitalism capitalizing on the situation. you gotta love it!!
