    New Look and Updated Website

Looks Great How about a nice close up of each bullet and some dimensions? I have a .222 that doesn't seem to like fat bullets. Lonnie

    .222 Remington build advice

You may want to check into the .222x35. The one I had many many years ago built on a XP 100 action shot very well and was absolutely the easiest thing to make shoot I had ever owned. Loading for it was dirt simple. 52 grain Bergers and just about any of the suitable .222 powders would get the...

Borescope -- To Buy or Not?

FWIW About a year ago I bought one of the cheaper bore scopes. (around $300). Mainly to check out my cleaning regimen. It works ok for my purpose. Right after Christmas I bought a brand new Model 70 Super grade in cal 7-08. Got it home and cleaned the bore. I didn't like the feel of the bore...

    Lt-32

2015 lot number is as follows:1208003 The zeros in front of the 3 are blurred, but I'm pretty sure that is what it says. The LT32 is lot no. 0104132 Both are made in Cananda

    Lt-32

I have a 1lb can of 2015 made in Canada and some LT32 here. They look nothing alike and I would think that if 2015 was "reject" LT32 they should look the same. The 2015 appears kinda glossy and dark-almost black. The LT is greyish and flat colored. I think the kernal size is slightly different...

    brux barrels

I just had my .222 rebarreled with a 1/12 Brux. It shoots very good and is smooth and cleans up really easy. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

    Vihtavouri Powders

The following was a reply from Lapua. Dear Mr. Boelk Nammo is in the process of negotiations to purchase the Eurenco Vihtavuori powder factory and hopefully this deal will close soon. Then, some reorganization and restructuring will be necessary before the full potential of that factory is...

    Texas Freeze-OT

-4 with wind chill of about -16 at around 7 a.m. Probably won't go to the Santa Shoot today. Maybe have to just use the range in the basement-or the wife wants to go get a tree today. Hmmm. We'll have to see if it warms up some.

    Quickload help

It might be a good idea to get a copy of QuickLoad of your own. Then you could play with all sorts of things when ever you wanted. There are a lot of "what ifs". It is even much less expensive than a new barrel.

LT 32 anyone have new up dates

The day I shot the Lt-32 in my .222 it was 37*. I started out at 21.8 at 3058 average and stopped at 23.0 at 3249. That was with Berger 52's coated with Danzac. A month later I tried some 50gn. Sierra spitzer un-coated and 23.2 gave 3344 fps. All had Federal 205M primers. Temperature was now at...

LT 32 anyone have new up dates

This afternoon LT-32 showed 3392 average with 28.8 gr. behind a Berger column. It shoots WAY better than my setup will allow. It also shoots Berger 52's in my .222 very well. Every bit as good as N133 in theses two rifles. Cheaper too.

    Anti-Fog product for scope lens.

There is a product called PJ1 fog blocker available at motorcycle stores. I had a problem with the shield of my helmet fogging and treated it with this stuff. Worked pretty well and did not scratch the plastic shield at all. The only thing is it takes a loy of wiping to get the film to clear up...

    Bullet Seating

This has turned into a very interesting question. For many years I have thought that the relationship of the bullet ogive to the lands was the important thing. With that in mind I opend up my seater stems to get contact for seating closer to the ogive-thinking this would make my loaded ammo more...

    Where is the powder?

I talked to a lady at Western about 2 weeks ago and she told me the powder would start to ship after the first of the year. After I hung up, I thought maybe I should have asked how long after the first of the year. I guess that could mean many months after or right after. Still sounds like the...
