    Ns 522

No mods needed to the trigger You need to drill and thread a hole for the rear trigger attachment screw and widen the slot in the receiver that the trigger blade goes through. It is obvious what is needed if you have trigger in hand The front mounting screw is used as is

    IR 50/50, The Primer

Great write up Tony The one thing I think IR50 needs is promotion to generate interest. Your post is a good start on that. I would like to see Mr Wills put in an appearance at next months indoor national. He could visit with the shooters and share his ideas on promoting and thereby growing...

    A Chet Amick Rifle

Gordon Your post came in while I was typing. Two old fingers just don't move very quickly. I was not knowledgeable enough to ask serious questions of him. My loss. He loved to talk about things he was doing though. He definitely believed that polishing the chamber was beneficial.. His...

    A Chet Amick Rifle

I won't attempt to hype the legend, but I never had one shoot poorly. Two of the local guys that Chet built their first BR rifles for as a favor to me, won a number of matches despite never shooting more than 8 or 10 matches a year. I doubt the family could be much help other than sharing the...

    A Chet Amick Rifle

That is typical of the signature on the four Amicks I have owned and the three others I know where are. Chet did some experimenting with leade angles and freebore. He also talked about chamber polishing in our discussions.

    Turbo bolt w/Hall firing pin

Bill Schertz Glad to see you are still playing the rimfire game. You too Thumper Mr Schertz has been shooting rimfire BR since at least the mid 1990's. If I remember correctly he wrote some rimfire articles for Precision Shooting. Not a neophyte that needs lecturing on the nuances of the game.

The New Scope Tuner For Accuracy....

Well over a year ago, another fellow had an adjustable position weight mounted on the scope base. He shot it at The indoor matches at Luray. He is well known for his 40 lb plus rifles. Might be where someone else got the idea.

    I Need A Suhl!

THere is a fellow that makes the replacement shoe for $25 if that is the part you are referring to. I saw his post on RFC. He may list in the classifieds here too. If he doesn't then shame on him

Who Won the # Gun Today?

If you meant for # to be 3, I heard Bill Hinegardner had the hot hand with a 750 60X. Don't place any wagers on that info though. I was driving in a rain storm and my hearing aids were buzzing when I heard that

    2500X bore guid

Thanks for the info. In some cases more info than I needed though. Maybe my Falcon guide will work. If not, I have two for the Swindleherst. Just never thought to try them before sending off for barrelling.
