Try some tinfoil... Tinfoil is pretty stable and thin, the figure 3/1000 sticks in my mind. Add as needed for the fit you want. Won't rust, nor hold moisture. See you this Saturday ? My best, David

If recrowning, slug 1st... If you decide to just recrown, have the barrel slugged, maybe you will find a tight spot somewhere near the end. Have the barrel cut and crowned there. You might be very happy with the results.
