I have had both fast and slow shoot good at different times. Sometimes I think it's the luck of the draw. My best intill today was some Tenex off Mech. 2 at 1052 fps. Today some Match off mech 1 at 1065 out shot it. I think you just have to try some of it all. Scott

1613 with a new 1913 barrel now, 5071 trigger

Don't know if this will help. I just put new Anschutz barrel on my 1613 and the faster ammo I shoot the better it gets. I'm up to some 1082 Tennex and it's shooting it's best so far. To me factory barrels seem to the faster ammo.

Will I though this was the way this would turn out that one piece should make a nice improvement. Now it sounds like that Pappas is the way to go. But is any other one's to consider? Scott

Tuner I'm just about to try my Tuner a J&J slider on my Anschutz 1913 too. Is that the 7" or 9" slider? About what number did you end up on so far on the tuner setting? Thanks Scott

New Question I was just doing some measuring. My gun now is 45.250" long. My case in 51" If end up needing to add some of the screw on weights I think it will no longer fit in my case. Do you think I can screw the weights on and off to fit the gun back in the case, with out screwing up the...

I am shooting Benchrest. I would change the barrel but one the for fun shoots I go to the rules are all factory guns ,but tuner's are allowed. But if I could fine a factory take off like new or new barrel I could put that on. Scott

Just looking for some opinions. I have a older Anschutz Match 54(1613) 1977 one of the Xseries barrels. It seems to shoot OK as far as I can tell, I'm no expert, only been shooting for about 9 months. My question is do you think a tuner will help a older gun. We all know the barrel isn't new...

That's OK RG. It's a good thing we all don't like the same gun or there wouldn't be enough guns to go aroung now would there. :)

IF your looking for the most accurate and best LOOKING I would go with any of the Anschutz 54 action sporters. They may cost a little more but you get what you pay for. Just MOP.
