Folks, I'm tired. I've been at work running matches this weekend. We had a Saturday Club Match that will just have to wait until tomorrow to post results. I'm tired. We had 33 shooters brave the Wabash winds. I will get to the rest of the weekend tomorrow. I was real interesting folks when you get real tough winds. Not the worst I ever saw by no means, but tough. The weatherman called for 15-25 NNW winds today. That is possibly what we got. We had a bunch of swirl at times and a great push at times. It was those that managed their time behind the trigger best that did well.

Target 1: Jon McKinney - 2310

I could not have done this without the help of my scoring teams (you know who you are), Mike Buschmann, Nick Buschmann, Jane Studebaker (it was wonderful to see you again and I hope you enjoyed your day), Jamie Singleton, Tim Roberts, Bill Wheeler, my wife Amy (who made the food and delivered it), and the Lord God Almighty (He'll forgive me if I forgot anyone that should be on this list). It was a long weekend for the Wabash crowd. I hope everyone enjoyed it and please come back sometime. The winds blowing actually made it a lot of fun for me. It made every shooter knuckle down and be the driver.

Catfish,Thou Fine Aquatic Friend.........Can You Post The Top Ten Equipment
List When You Recover? I Could Tell By The Aggs It Was Kinda Windy!!

Thanks, Smitty

Looks like

the top four guns were Gorham, Gorham, Myers and Gorham. Really doesn't matter, sounds like tough conditions and a lotta fun was had by all. Sorry Kirk, just making a quick guess!

Sorry Fiddler but you are wrong. Fred Leeds owns Carney guns but he shot, and is shooting a Gorham rifle.

Carp,

Looks like you put on a great tournament. I know from experience it's a hard day. What time did you finish?

Congratulations to all the winners.

Rifles, smiths, barrels, ect. didn't mean squat on Sunday. The weather took care of that-----------WIND! Folks equipment lists for whatever meaning mean nothing to the seasoned competitor, no matter where they place, nor where they shoot. This will be the last time I ever post equipment.

Beau, we finished within 5 minutes of 6:05 and 6:15pm. Final results and awards within an hour of that.

For those who attended.....I noticed there was little or no food left. Was my wifes cooking that good or was there not enough food? Be honest just in case I ever, ever have to do this again.

Bryant Brown, I'm working on the recipe for the pasta salad. Give me a day or so and I will e-mail you, buddy.

I appreciate every single competitor that came. It was a tough day to shoot, but it made it interesting and fun.

I will get the Sat. results out tomorrow. I made out the equipment list for ARA (required). It takes alot of time and I'm tired.

Wow...!!!

Look at that equipment list. Interesting. I heard it was a tad windy at the event.

Great shooting guys.

How would an $11,000 rifle factor into that day? I just hope Gorham and the others don't raise their prices to match.

Yikes!

Thanks...

Hey John...
Just wanted to say THANKS again to you and all of your crew who did an incredible job preparing for and running the match on Sunday. It was one of the best ran and organized matches I have been to and the food your wife prepared was second to none and definitely deserved a GOLD MEDAL! Please remember to thank her for me too because I am still eating on my pasta salad you sent home with me. Seems everything went real good except my shooting but I will definitely be back next year to try again if the good Lord's willing!

Hope to see you again soon!
Bryant
