    Rifle rest question

I think the Caldwell is just as heavy as your Hart... If you really want a lighter Rest, you can try the Lightweight Rest from Sinclair. And you can use the Top with a heavier base.

Hello! I will ;) And when you put 2 cliks after the middle dot, would you say 60,5? This way all your reading will be only from ,1 to ,5, right?

(very) dumb question: reading poweder measure...

Sorry for this dumb question. I got my Harrell powder measure a few weeks ago and I would like to know how to read the clicks...? I mean: It has 6 clicks from one number (say 60) to another (ex: 61). And a dot mark in the middle. If I move it to 2 clicks after the 60 mark, how do I read it...

    BCM and Harrel Presses

It sells in Italy for about 350 Euros... that means close to U$700,00 after shipping to US. Very expensive, as European stuff usualy are... Here a photo of a Hood combo press and the BCM side by side that a gentleman in US send me. He made me clear that the BCM is a big press and it is...

I am considering start reloading at the range and would like to have a press that would fit my needs on reloading 6mmBR, .30BR and .308win calibers. The best setup press I saw is this Italian made: http://www.bcmeuropearms.it/presse_eng.html Two 7/8-14 Die station and one Straight Die...

question on whether or not there's a class for me?

You can try USBR Rimfire Benchrest... there is a factory sporter class (CZ452, Anschutz 1700, Remington 541 etc). We found out that it is a good place to start and eventually a shooter becomes more interested in accuracy and go to a Custom class, rimfire or centerfire.

R.F.D. Culver stye Measure, any opinion?

Hello Dennis!! How are your excelent BR rifle doing? Keeping shooting well? As some of you mentioned a long drop tube, why it is needed? As I understand (or lack of understanding...) a longer drop tube does not change or influence the quantity of powder the measure throws... It may change...

R.F.D. Culver stye Measure, any opinion?

Hello Paul! Thank you everybody for the answers! I have great respect for the members on this Forum and based on this, I decided I will keep the Redding 3BR measure for pistol and just bought a Harrel Premium Benchrest Measure just for rifles loads. I think it will be the best set up, right? ;)

R.F.D. Culver stye Measure, any opinion?

Expiper, thank you for your explanation. I dont intend to load "match" handgun loads, only safe loads. I have a Redding 3BR measure for handgun and was thinking if this R.F.D. Measuer would substitute the Redding for handgun and have a much better option than it for Rifles... When you say...

R.F.D. Culver stye Measure, any opinion?

Actually, what I liked about the R.F.D. measure is the possibility of throw very low charges, of 2 or 3 grains for example (very useful for handguns calibers).

R.F.D. Culver stye Measure, any opinion?

I was looking at Sinclair's catalog and saw a R.F.D. Culver style Powder Measure (#11-2500) and would like to know some opinions of it compared with the Harrells powder measures. I liked the fact that you can throw charges from 0 to 85 grs. with the RFD, as oposite of Harrells that throws from...
