Congrat's Jimmie! That's some great shootin', especially while being eaten alive by those famous Montezuma gnats. I hit one of those gnats once; the bullet bounced back and almost killed a shooter three benches down from me. ;) If you took both heavy classes in that crowd, you done good.

Those are two good scores with any equipment, but off sand bags.......like Jody said Holy Cow!:cool:

One problem with turnout, is opportunity. There are more matches and ranges to choose from than there used to be. With the price of traveling, you have to choose carefully, which ones you attend. Before, there was less opportunity. When someone held a sanctioned match within 2-3 hrs. of you...

Thanks! A big Thanks to Thumper and Don for running the match, and to Phil and Don for running the targets. They even had to post and pull some in the rain. It takes a group effort to pull off a match this big. The food was great too. Thanks to the whole Gateway group.

Nice shootin' Steve Those are some good scores, wind or not. That must be some really good windy day ammo. You'll probably want to save it for the really windy matches. According to the extended weather forecast, the wind at this year's Crawfish will be "calm." :D
