Did you try the standard fixes? Check bedding, possible recrown muzzle, etc. Rest and bag setup? Maybe let another shooter try, triggers on CZ not that great. Check scope, mounts, and try different pressure on action screws? Should get to about 1/2 at 50 if everything right.

Well i have a great Model 4 CZ. Got 1/2 inch, 3/8 and 1/4 with Wolf, Master and Midas in that order. (best groups, 5 shots)) Course i was usin full benchrest gear, 36X scope, Hart rest and wind flags. Since it was 50 YARDS and great conditions maybe I'd better not compete against that guy. HEH HEH

NBRSA dropped rimfire when no one wanted to hold Nationals. I beleive they are formally dropping it altogether this year. ARG still shoots groups. Check records from those listed now. Only some shooting ARG in LA and Miss.

Springfield "factory " night Last Monday of month. Factory stock, bbl, action, no tuners. 2 piece rests. We use the IBS target I think, bigger 10 ring. Generally we get about 10 shooters but put on feed one night and had 22. Some interest and we get some people out to try, some get "hooked"...

I have an almost mint Model 4 (1957) At 50yrds less than 1 inch with Wolf Match extra (3/4 most) With Lapua Master less than 1/2 inch and with Midas it got .25 group. (2 groups one little out with 8 rounds) Fantastic shot all groups on one target with 6-10 switching winds. Almost ready to use it...

I have a Number 4 made in 57 so just after these. It has single trigger. Shoots great. Love to find more info on these.

I just moved to Springfield. How do I get more info on Billings matches and Springfield benchrest? I usually only shoot rimfire. Would like to shoot some local and possibly make matches in area. Thanks
