Reamer I heard one squeak one time - just before it stuck. I was using water based coolant and learned the hard way that is not recommended. Dave Kiff re-sharpened the reamer and I used proper lubricant an no other problems. KG

Just mill the head off the screw. Get a bit the same size as the screw head. Takes about 5 minutes. Does not hurt the base or the rifle. I have a friend bring an old rifle that the screws were rusty. Milled the heads off - installed new screws. Presto - fixed.

I pulled the barrel off my 220 Swift AI tonight. I would have to set it back about 10 inches. Not exactly on topic - I estimate 1500 rounds - PDogs are tough on barrels.

I have a 22 Dasher and I really like it. Don't know about barrel life yet as I have only shot it on one 5 day Pdog hunt. I shot about 500 rounds because that was all the ammo I had loaded. I will take more rounds this year. I have two replacement barrels on hand, just in case.

I put a tuner on a 2013. I turned the barrel to a slightly smaller diameter and installed a Harrel's tuner.

You will need 1 in 12 for the light bullets. 1 in 9 works great for 69 grain bullets. 1 in 7 for the heavier bullets. This is my experience. KG
