I currently am doing load development for a 280AI. I am using RWS 280 brass and 215M primers. When fireforming the primers were very flat, and I put it down to too low a pressure/powder charge. After doing a ladder test and increasing the charge a lot the primer still looked identical to...

Quick update.. Found the real reason why the primers look the way they were. They were not low pressure, but a primer pocket issue. The primer pockets were 3.21mm deep, and the primers 3.26mm deep. I put it down to new RWS brass and hard to seat primers!!! All primer pokcets are now cut to...

Guys, Anybody workeed with one of these? I see they say 3.5-5lb adjustable, but with some work to the trigger what is it able to be taken down too? Hoping someone here has had a play with one and got it down to around the 1lb mark! Could be a deciding factor. Cheers

Again, cant help with 210's as I am currently shooting 200SMK's, but this will still help a little. 63grains of H4350 is 1mm below the body/shoulder junction. Getting close to a full case, but still more room. Cheers

200SMK's, 28" barrel, 2905fps, 5 firings before base is tight. No moly. 2850fps sounds the goods with 210's!

Hey, you guys with 300WSM's, what are your fired cases meauring at around that 0.200" area? Keen to know if my chamber is tigher than usual! Have sent emails off to both RCBS and Hornady asking size at base. My Redding is 0.554", and my fored cases 0.552". CHeers

Hi It is time to FL size my 300WSM cases, getting a little to tight closing the bolt, but have run into a issue. The Redding body and standard FL die will not size the base, which is the tight area. My chamber is 0.502" at the base, and the dies 0.504". A new case measures 0.4995" ish. So...
