The Great Score Target and Bullet Size Controversy

Thanks Thank you for taking the time to show the details of the obvious.

    Benchrest handicap

"Value" class I think the issue is money. Who wants to throw down $30 to shoot a match to only have an experienced shooter with a much better rifle kick your butt. Once maybe. Twice? No way. I think a "value" factory class where the gun (without optics) is limited to a certain value, say...

Dean Breeden sweeps both VFS and Hunter at IBS 200/300 Nationals

I want to say a big "THANK YOU" to Mike, Joe, Hope, Mrs. Carlton, John, Lonnie and everyone else for making this happen. I'm sure more hard work and sweat (and more sweat) went into this match than we can imagine. "CONGRATULATIONS" to all the winners. I'm very proud of my local shooting friends...

30BR barrel and brass life? What's your experience?

I've read about 7000+ rounds but I'd like to hear more. Has anyone here actually wore out a 30BR barrel? 1. How many rounds down your barrel? 2. Do you use a bullet coating? 3. How often do you clean? 4. How many firings on your brass? 5. Do you anneal and if so how often? Me: 1. 2700 on...

    NBRSA & Matches

I HAVE to... I HAVE to post on this. Lynn, I don't see a line forming to dispute your claims but only saying to forgive and forget. So I take it that you are correct that rules were broken at a National Match. If you brought this to their attention at that time and it was ignored I can't...

    Here's Jackies Targets

Can someone give me the measurement of the black square? I'm at work and need that measurement to scale the pictures so I can measure them. OK, I'm bored and I've done alot less entertaining things. Thanks in advance. Tony

Necking up to a 30BR. Run out!!

Al, Why? To keep runout to a minimum? Has it always been necessary? I don't recall hearing anyone recommend this before. See my post #5 about runout on fired cases. I shoot a 30BR long (shoulder forward .125) and my brass has to expand more than most. Is everyone else annealing their 30BR before...

Necking up to a 30BR. Run out!!

Runout after 2 firings? Are these cases from the new blue box by any chance? Do you have access to a few cases from the old paper box? Can you have some of your new cases annealed? I think at some point some of the Lapua 6BR brass began to not be annealed properly. Seems about the same time as...

    Any motorcyclists on this forum?

Baker 6 speed I run a Baker 6 speed but need to be going 75+ mph to turn enough rpm to use 6th gear. The bike is a 2003 Big Dog Chopper with S&S 107 cubic inch motor. Your clutch/tranny pics are impressive.

    Another scoring consideration...

I've been waiting on your "stir-up-stink" post of the day. No wonder it took you until 1:30. Excellent question.
