30BR but I bought new dies went from 7 to 8 ogive. Also had to change gunsmiths and his reamer has freebore. This leaves very little bullet in the neck. One inch work better.

I posted 8 buckets of 30 cal. 0.925 jackets in the classifieds under "everything else". They don't work in my barrels.

Thanks for the info Al, this cartridge is new for me so I appreciate the info. I like the idea of making a fireform barrel, got some old 6ppc barrels. I've used pistol powder forming brass before. Sounds like the best way to go. Thanks

I purchased a barrel block stock and was told by the owner it fit a 1.45 barrel which I ordered. Turns out is the block is 1.50. Block is steel. Does a sleeve work as well as a 1.50 barrel would? If so what material is best? Will copper work? I shoot short range BR unlimited class. 6ppc and...

Thanks for the info. I found some plastic w/tops at labdepotinc.com. I got 1,000 plastic 12x75 with tops for $55 shipped. They have a lot of different tubes and tops to pick from.
