.22 PPC vs. .22 PPC USA vs. .22 PPC Sako

Since you didn't mention having dies, I'd have a reputable gunsmith, like Dusty, chop off about an inch at the chamber end, chase the threads, and re-chamber it in a chambering that you know will work and I'd have the dies done at the same time. Then you would know what you have and that it will...

    13 twist ppc barrels

We have shot 13 and 13.5 twist barrels for some time with the 6ppc. They work fine. I should add that with cut rifling you can order exactly what twist you want.

    James Lederer Barrels

I tend to hoard and buy things before I need them. Oh wait, that's called planning ahead. Just about three years ago I ordered two .30 cal by 17 twist barrels on the same day. One order went to Rock Creek, one order went to Bartlein. Paul at Rock told me it would be 4 weeks. Frank at Bartlein...

    James Lederer Barrels

No, Jim. Rock Creek got the Kostyshyn barrel business. James was working for Rock Creek at the time and was working to get the new production line going. As so many in the barrel business in Wisconsin and environs, James learned from the master, Boots Obermyer. James and I were talking about...

    Long range hunting rifle

You hunted in Michigan with the yahoos I spoke about earlier. That's all I'll say. You don't need to be locked out of BC Forum. You just need to unlock your mind to what is around you.

    Lost my Primer Pocket Uniformer!

I'm not sure who made them for Dick, either. He was a tool salesman for a while. We called him Carbide Dick. Russ Hayden stocked them and sold them until he closed up shop. You might be able to chase down who bought Russ's stock when that took place.

    Lost my Primer Pocket Uniformer!

If it's a real Whitetail you can't chuck it in a drill. Dick Wright had them made with a straight shank only and it was better than 1/2 inch in diameter.

    Long range hunting rifle

At Super Shoot about 1990 Wally Hart had his trailer set up by the big barn. In the trailer he had a recording playing in a continuous loop a hunt in, I think Wyoming but, location doesn't count. Little Bobby was narrating the film to whoever cared. He shows an elk shot at about 1500 yards over...

    Long range hunting rifle

I'm with tcjones on this one. That long range crap is great for the long range guy with the equipment and the ability to score one shot hits all day long. The problem is that there are too many yahoos that blast and gasp, "what happened?" Three legged elk are fine as far as coyote feed is...

    Stainless Steel Barrel imperfection?

It sounds like what they call inclusions. Here, in the states, a phone call and a send back would be in order and let them decide what they think before insisting on a replacement.
