I have a 270 WSM I can push 130gr buulets to 3,400 fps with a stiff load of mag pro. But 1 complaint I have with my 270 WSM is 3 shots and my bbl is HOT ! Its a 3 shot rifle period .

I shoot a 6x284 My BBL (26"HART 10"twist) has over a 1000 rnds through it and it still shoots under a 1/4 MOA. Untill Re#17 came out H4350 was the stuff. but now Re#17 with 57.5grs pushes a 70gr Nosler BT to 4,000 + 53.5grs pushes a 90 gr Nosler BT 3600+. So thumbs up for the conversion to 6x284.

I have a Mod 70 in same caliber. My gunsmith broke the trigger so he put an after market trigger on it.But its not a trigger 2nd gunsmith could Identify. Any how I'd get some thing else.Like a Basix or a Timney,Jewell.

6x284 Hart BBL My Rem 700 Hart bbl 6x284 with 57.5 grs of Re#17 70 gr Nosler BT pushing 4,000 fps produced a 5 shot .236 group. But it regularly prints under 1/2 MOA at 100 yds. Oh and that group was at 100 yds.
