    bore scope

Hmmmmmmmm They show you loads! But sometimes not really sure what you are seeing or how to interpret it.Also sometimes i think they scare you to see what the supposed great bores really look like! Although one of the nicest bores i looked at was a $90.00 Green Mountain! I think the cost is...

He made an alumimum sleeve that was a tight [lightly driven on] fit to my barrel. He made this bushing/sleeve just a bit bigger than my tuner was...

    tightening Hoehn style tuner.

Tuner tightness Rich I just tighten mine pretty snug.I tried using a torque wrench at 20lbs.-15 lbs. ect. but saw no difference in accuracy. So i just tighten it down. I had heard that a person could tighten them down too tight and actually distort the barrel. So one day while i was at Butch...

Need advice on a 1:17 twist barrel

Hey 40EZXS My reply was based on testing,.....but it was lots of testing. It was also based on several matches last year and that is what i found with the 1-17" twist. And the velocity quoted was chronographed, not from a box or guessed at. Also i was in the top 100 out of 734 last year so...

Need advice on a 1:17 twist barrel

17" twist........ Hi Jeffery I have a Broughton 1-17" on my 40x,smithed by my friend Butch Hongisto. It does shoot much better in warmer weather than cold and although i believe this is true with all rimfires it seems more pronounced in the 17" twist. The ammo that shoots best for me is SK at...

tooley mbr stock with papas rest

What's the problem if the forend is a bit long? Could you not just extend the forend stop,to allow an extra long forend stock to work? I use one of James rests and love it but i did fit one of Joe Cowan's forend stops to it,which by the way is great. On other rests i have just used a longer...
