We had our monthly match today with 14 shooters attending. Winds were switchy 5-10 mph hot and humid. The results were:

Congratulations go out to Joe Besche for his first place win and another 2500 target also to Olivia Howard a junior shooter finished fourth over all and had a 2400 target and agged over 2200 for the day and was our first place Junior shooter and our second place junior was Nicholas Moore.

I've said all along and I will say it again. Joe is just hard to beat day in and day out. He makes it look simple.

Congrats to Dale Frost on his 2450 target as well. I see Brian shot one as well. You guys are awesome.

This is a tough crowd.

Just in case anyone is keeping track high targets 1-6 are all Roger Brock smithed rifles.

Yes Joe was shooting his same factory stocked anschutz 54 he shot the last 2500 with....I guess I need to hang more stuff on my barrel. he is using 2 vibration tuners and a pappas bloop tube. It is flat smoking....Joes niece 10 year old Olivia was shooting the same rifle.

Well to be competetive around here this season I am going to have to try to find another 100-150 points somewhere.

Joe what kind of gun are you shooting???? who is your gunsmith?? how many 2500's have you shot this year, dam man you are awesome, makes us all proud of you, Sweet Ol'e Loveable Jerr.:D:D:D

As charlie said I'm shooting a ans 54 with a broughton barrel smith by Roger Brock with a Pappas parallel noodle. Just a couple of 2500 but I just got lucky I only hope my luck holds.

Congrats, Olivia, on your 2400! A 10 year old Jr. Shooter and she's anxious to go to The Nationals...:)
