    The Parallel Node, Calfee

    The Parallel Node, Calfee

Since when was it a bad thing to (try to) understand why something works the way it does?

    Rimfire BR at Olympics

If I had the equipment and skills to compete, I'd sure try to do so. But, seeing as how I've only been shooting for barely over a year, only own one CZ and one Brno, and mostly shoot smallbore silhouette, it would turn out to be an embarrassing beating at this point in time, hehe. My shooting...

    Rimfire BR at Olympics

If they're the best shooters, then why wouldn't they go shoot alongside them all and prove it? If they're not there, they certainly won't be the best. Can't win if you don't play. Take a look at every single Super Bowl. Every last one of them. How many were won by armchair quarterbacks...

    The Parallel Node, Calfee

Or you could just answer it here, and nobody will have to spend any money, and many will learn. I see you give answers similar to this to so many questions. If you're willing to tell someone in a letter that you'll mail to them, why are you unwilling to type it out here?

    My friends, Kathy

It's not that I don't think it would work. I'm just thinking that perhaps after following his routine there might still be some minute adjustment left to do, that's all. Perhaps you're both right and the amount left after that is so small as to get lost in the noise.

    My friends, Kathy

Bill's method of finding this setting needs a bit of tweaking, I think. Getting the same POI at 44m (I think that's what he said he was shooting at, no?) from two bullets travelling at speeds differing by 40 ft/s seems counter-productive. If they were both fired perfectly they would have...

New Lapua ammo cost, grab your knees

Except we weren't debating anything, heh. I was just stating how embarrassed I was for you for your display to all about how much of a bigot you were. Call me stupid all you like, doesn't bother me in the least what you have to say. The bigotry alone states all we need to know about your...

New Lapua ammo cost, grab your knees

There's a difference between being a patriot and being a bigot. You are simply a bigot. And the last time I checked Canada didn't have a whole lot of enemies, so I think my country's just fine, thanks. This is completely off-topic and you're clearly a waste of time, so, good day.

New Lapua ammo cost, grab your knees

Doesn't even make any sense, heh. But, whatever...you're proud to be a bigot, I feel sorry for you.

New Lapua ammo cost, grab your knees

I'd be very surprised if it did shoot the same from lot to lot. I guess we'll know soon enough once it becomes generally available.

best high velocity 22lr for 100 yard accuracy

Here's a post from a suppressor manufacturer that tested a Contender barrel by cutting it down an inch at a time and measuring muzzle velocity. He doesn't directly say that 16 inches was the highest speed, and that it was slower with the previous longer lengths. But what he does say is that...

best high velocity 22lr for 100 yard accuracy

Wow, that's one long barrel! They say a typical standard velocity round gets the highest velocity from a barrel that's about 16" long and slows after that, so your thoughts are probably on target, as it were.

    Eley Biathlon

Well then, to stay on topic, I don't even follow Calfee's logic in setting up a tuner in this fashion. He wrote that this would guarantee the muzzle is stopped, but it seems to me that this is just an indication that it is actually behaving differently for both speeds. The differing speeds...
