I see that, but since when did the IBS start shooting an "agg" format, other than 600?

What is the format? Doesn't look like any kind of 1000 yard IBS match that I have ever shot in.

Usually it is LG, HG, LG on day one and Hg, LG, HG on day two for a three target agg (3 LG and 3 HG). I can't imagin shooting SIX targets a day!!

Any chance of a three day shoot?......a four target agg, maybe????

My opinion.....YES, you should use primers in a 300 Win. :D I have found primers to be very effective.

I am pretty sure the rules say that there is no contact between the line and the pits once the sighter period has started. Using three discs is "contact" in my view. I could be wrong though.

I think Tim is right....you need to take the time and head out to the range when the temps are different, find your tune for each temp, and keep a record. I think the thing is to get good enough at it to TRUST your setting. This can be done at shorter range.....tuned is tuned!!! PS....Barbi...

I have to agree..... In the thread a couple of months ago about the rule change allowing MB's to be used in HG......it was stated more than once that installing a break on a HG will hurt accuracy. I never quite understood that concept. If it is done right it can't hurt. Just my .02.

Absolutely...but...is there any way you could hold the 600/1000 yard matches on the same weekend.....600 on Saterday and 1000 on Sunday kind of setup? Also....is the firing line going to be new or the pit/impact area going to be new?

Not sure about nbsra, but in IBS the only restriction is the 17 lb weight limit.
