muzzle brakes

Its usually not the muzzlebrakes fault if the accuracy isn't good.If you work up your load with the muzzlebrake installed then remove it this can sometimes give you less than desirable results.
You have to work up your load with the brake installed because adding the extra weight is like adding a tuner to your barrel.
The horror stories you read about are from shooters who have a pet load then install a brake and don't upgrade the load.This is common with suppressors as well.

No muzzle brake will impair accuracy if properly installed.

I have to agree..... In the thread a couple of months ago about the rule change allowing MB's to be used in HG......it was stated more than once that installing a break on a HG will hurt accuracy. I never quite understood that concept. If it is done right it can't hurt.
