    Stationary belt sander

The problem with the average 6x48 belt is that it tends to slop around and not run dead true and flat. If you don't want to go for the 2x48 sort of high speed belt then a disc is probably your best choice, as long as it runs true.

    Can Epoxy Resin go bad?

Build a wooden box, insulated with 1" of foam and wire up two 40w bulbs to an electric heat thermostat. Set the temp and the epoxy will always be at the right temp. The reason for two bulbs is that when one burns out it will still be the right temp unless of course they both burn out at the same...

    Can Epoxy Resin go bad?

Good thing about epoxy is that as well as being much stronger it doesn't stink of styrene as polyester does! To the next block!

    Can Epoxy Resin go bad?

It can be extended but you may find that some components crystylise out of the resin over time. You must warm the resin up and stir it back in. Once this is done it will be good again. We buy resin by the drum but often use it by the ounce. We look in the drum for crystallisation and then still...

    Can Epoxy Resin go bad?

Probably you had a hardener that was not compatible. If you tell me exactly what brand names and hardeners I may be able to tell you. "Fiberglass Resin" is usually considered polyester resin which you don't use for bedding. You have to be very specific about terminology because there are many...

    Rotary Union

It seems that many use an air coupler, including the one GTR sells. I bought one of these for $12 so I will see how long cheap lasts and keep an eye on ebay for something better in the meantime. Now the pump. I am told a pump from an oil furnace works well (can't find one here, everyone is on...

    Rotary Union

There are some on ebay but it seems not all are suitable for cutting oil so it can be hard to tell which is which at times. At this point it is a hobby for me as well.

    Rotary Union

I am looking for a rotary union/coupler to do a barrel flush with. I don't want to spend a fortune but I do want it to work. There are lots of them suitable for air reels, whips and the like but I am not sure they will hold up to cutting oil. I have also heard of some made of plastic used for...

    6.5 conspiericy

To answer the Canada question, real easy to get a rifle from Canada. You need to get an import permit and have the rifle mailed to an FFL. Export to USA from Canada requires no permits at all. Just don't plan on sending it back from the USA, it is a major job to export form the USA.

    Exporting bullets and brass

I hate to say... It's obvious isn't it? Find a supplier other than in the USA. These are USA problems, the rest of the world is still okay.

    PGW Coyote actions

I have one in the shop now. The action has draft on the sides but not on the tang or the recoil lugs. It also has a sand blasted very rough finish. It also has the recoil block which is not a very precise fit. If I had my choice I would not use the recoil block. I would add draft to the tang...
