I have shot one and at least on that one there was very little if any closing cam on it. That made it very had to load and shoot fast if you needed too based on conditions. It also caused you to disturbed the gun in the rest. I guess if you put a Bentz type chamber you would not have that issue...

What is the headspace now? I have seen some Suhls swallow a no go gage and they shot good and did not have ruptured cases. Some of them had headspace in the range of .050 insteadof the .043 that must guns are set at. And there are no threads to worry about .

Suhl barrels are pinned and press fit just like Anschutz barrels.

I would go with ARA for now your only about 35 miles from Livonia, In. They shoot ARA there. I would say you would get a bigger turn out for ARA right now.

It is in the classified ads. It looked like it could have been a ULA action rifle just by looking the bolt handle.

The box is marked that it is made in Germany. So I would guess it is made by RWS.

Both of mine have pined barrels they should have a insert for the locking lugs. I do not know who made the barrels but they do shoot good.
