H'mmm I have been given that same advice by three Hall of Fame shooters and two Super Shoot winners but now I guess I will have to ignore it. A tenth of verticle beats 3 tenths of horizonal anytime.

I feel for you Al, but I know where you are coming from as regards to the time involved with a match as I just finished working the range crew for our match this past weekend. It must be lonely to not have one friend to help you set flags :D

You guys with the those "cool green lasers" have it when you are shooting alone but I firmly feel that at Benchrest matches they should not be allowed. Come on guys, setting flags is not rocket science, shouting, waving arms, radios, phones etc. all allow flags to be set accurately without any...

We will have our regularly scheduled match this Sunday at the Winds of Manatee range. Shooting will start at 9am but the gate will open at 7. All you Fl shooters who have nothing to do in this weather should come on down, we have shade and nice cool breezes. Oh yeah, bring a fan and ice.

blank 205M primer I found one of these at the Shamrock back in March, fortunately I caught it before I loaded the round. I have enough of my own reloading hiccups without Fed. adding to the problem. Sure am glad Fed. pays more attention to the Match primers!

Hey Jackie, I like your scoring/measuring concept, 1. it removes any caliber advantage 2. measures true precision and accuracy 3. removes the expense of having to get a 30Br to be competitive in score (and yes I do shoot some score and if you think that anything smaller than a 30 can compete...

If your not "doping the wind" then to put it kindly you are wasting your time, components, barrel life, etc. etc.. If you truly are interested in wringing the most out of setup, get wind flags, learn how to read them then evaluate your rig and technique, otherwise gets used to the @#*& flyers.

I was with Johnny at the "wailling wall" a couple of matches before that group whining to him about my 3 in 1 hole group and he said "yea, all morning I have been able to get 3 in 1 just keep losing those other two", well on that group he obviously did not lose the other two! Way to go Johnny...

Don, you know it's summertime in Florida, thunder, lightning, high winds and 2 inches of rain can always be around the corner. What I like best though is when the sun comes out afterwards, temps. hit 94 and humidity pegs the needle, now keep your load in tune!
