But, we had the same occurance just two weeks ago in Houston.

We've had the White stuff and COOLER temps the last couple weeks up here :D. Time to get the walking rigs out ;):D

as long as you're moving stuff

...it's almost as easy, while you're moving the white stuff, to just start throwing your gear in the back of your truck and point that puppy SOUTH.
it's a very similar motion to the shovelling-type movement, but use caution with primers!

Averages count

Snow in Texas. Big snowstorm on the east coast. Cold temps. Must prove global warming is bunk.

On December 19th I shot a 0.2 MOA group with my favorite hunting rifle. Must prove it's a real tackdriver. But from January to November average group size was 2.0 MOA. Maybe one small group doesn't prove much?

Maybe snow in TX or one cold snap doesn't change the fact that 2009 is one of the warmest years on record?

While watching one of the cable news shows on TV, the conversation was global warming, in the window behind the panel was snow coming down pretty heavy. Not one of these folks had the guts to look out the window while spouting their BS. Kinda reminds me of Al Gore.)chill(
 
When did Gore say it wouldn't snow anymore? I must have missed it. Must have been the same day he said it wouldn't drop below 70 ever again in Alaska. Man, does he ever lie!
 
2009 is cooler

In Canada and the U.S. it has been a cooler year. It is interesting though, many of the record high temps seen on the weather at night seem to be decades, and sometimes over 100 years old.

Gore shoots his credibility when he leaves a larger "carbon footprint" than MANY of us combined could ever leave.

The comments from socialist countries condemning capitolism, (while at the same time wanting large amounts of the wealth of capitalist countries "spread around" to them), were EXTREMELY telling at the global warming conference last week.

I don't believe it is about global warming.

I also am a Christian and believe that God is in a better position to control the climate than man.

The last 2 statements tend to offend people who don't believe in God. Not always, but usually.

I got these big pieces of steel hanging on the front of a couple trucks, we call that stuff " White Gold".
 
The "Global Warming" hysteria manufactured and fueled by the Left is merely a means to their ends, "Global Governance". They can fool some (vicvanb) but not all:D!
I haven't seen this much snow at one time since 78. If my memory serves me, I remeber the hysteria then was the coming of the new "Ice Age" the left claimed we would experience a never ending frozen tundra. Perhaps the 25" I measured in the driveway, my Tacoma covered to the windows in drifts and my sons Mustang covered in snow is the beginning of the new "ice age". About as sound an argument as "Global Warming". It took me 5 hours to shovel out of this mess.
