  • Jackie you are the original "Look up in the sky! It's a bird. It's a plane. Wait. It's not superman. It's Jackie sailing through drag strip timing lights, over water, without any attached device, even perhaps into outer space. I am jealous. I always wanted to fly. I got to know. Did you have your arms out in front of you like superman? Were you wearing a cape?
    Jackie,

RE: Using 6mm barrell to Fireform 6BR brass for use in a 30BR.

I was told by some shooters that you use a 6mm barrel chambered in 30BR to fireform your 6BR brass for use in a 30 BR.

I requested a gunsmith to use my 30BR reamer to chamber a 6mm barrel this way but he said he didn't think it could be done as the pilot on the reamer is a 30 cal and it wouldn't work.

I would think a 6mm pilot could be adapted to the 30BR reamer, however, as I know nothing about the machining part of this process don't know.

Any info you could provide on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advacne for your consideration.

    Mr. Schmidt
Thank you for your time and I promise to be brief. I would like to attend the Tomball match on the 6th and need an address. I will be coming from Ft.Worth area and would appreciate an address so I could plug that into a gps or mapquest. I do not want to waste your time with you typing out all the directions Ishould be ok and be able to find it before the match on Sunday. Also I was wondering if on saturday I might be able to put a few rounds down the barrel there since I am toying with the idea of chambering a new barrel and will have very little load time this coming week. I am new to bench rest and this will be my 2nd match to attend but I am learning so much from the bench community. I appreciate all you guys do and thank you for helping. Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon.
