What Is This White Stuff ?

Gore and a lot of others have gotten rich with the global warming deal. Now they want to create a whole industry around it, even a religion, and they want the rest of us to pay for it.

Whether a global warming trend exists or not the following must be considered.
If objectivity is gone data presented can't be trusted, and theres no sign of objectivity in the presentations made by the Greenhouse Gases believers.

The earlier bogus Hockey stick graph now long debunked, the attempts to sweep the Medieval warming period under the rug, etc. Have made it difficult to put any faith in the present claims of Human responsibility for any rise in temperatures, or indeed in much of the supposed rise in atmospheric CO2.

When more solar radiation strikes the surface of Northern land masses both sequestered CO2 and Methane are released from the surface layers of once frozen tundra. This increases CO2 and more importantly Methane which is a major Greenhouse gas.

Increases in reflected sunlight from Solar System objects was noted long ago, measurements of isotopes in meteors with known impact dates, ice core samples ,and satelite data confirm a steady increase in Solar activity over the last century, over two centuries according to meteor isotope studies.

Those who plan to take the Carbon Credits scam to the bank proclaim loudly that increased Solar forcing has had no effect on temperature trends have only one explaination, because they say so.
Solar radiation melts snow and ice, revealing ground which has low albedo and reflects less light and heat, which raises local temperatures and melts more ice. The landscape around populated areas has low albedo, and much asphalt and concrete which acts as a heat sink. Solid particulates like soot increase the effect. The Russians even experimented with spreading soot over tundra to raise local temperatures as far back as the 60's.

The Hawaian CO2 measuring station is on the side of a volcano, it can't take direct measurements and figures are extrapolated by use of reference gases.
When CO2 figures didn't match those the GHG crowd expected, the reference gase equipment was replaced, and lo and behold the new equipment gave them the results they wanted.
When Earhtlight measuring equipment didn't give the figures they wanted, it to was replaced.

Thing is you can't blame increased Solar Activity on US Industry, so they had to find a theory that would allow blaming the US and at the same time put a hand in our pockets.
 
Plant life

Seems I learned in Elementary school, plants convert CO 2 into O2. The more plant life, the cleaner the air. Quit cutting down Rain Forests and plant new ones where you can and Manage the growth.
 
Who is to say that a little global warming wouldn't be a good thing? A little warming would help the grapefruit crop in the Rio Grande Valley.

It is highly probable that in a few years Al Gore will be proven the greatest fool that our country has ever produced. This global warming is just a thing that Al does with his mouth.

Well, it that's true, we'd all better do a whole lot more praying 'cause the problems of global warming (whether by man or God) will dwarf anything else on the horizon.

When the data is not what they tell us , they blame the equipment.
Later they increase the amount to parts per billion ,
It's a Numbers game they want us to buy into.
 
I believe that most of the global warming problem is located in Washington DC. There is enough hot air and methane gas spewing forth there that the current depth of frozen H2O should melt rather quickly. Perhaps quickly enough to result in a flood that would wash the place clean and restore balance to our environment.

Well anyway that's my Christmas wish!

Check Al Gore's Bank balances before and after he announced the tragic event was happening. It's all hype.

During the Medieval Warming period agriculture blossomed throughout Northern Europe, and retreat of sea ice allowed the restablishment of Icelandic settlements and other Viking colonies. When it subsided the other colonies died out and Europe went back to being a stravling pesthole.

Maritime nations are already arguing over undersea mining rights in the arctic circle and laying plans for trade routes taking advantage of more open waters.
Some will be very disapointed when the melting trend reverses itself, especiall those millions who could have benefitted from increased food crop outputs.
Freezing our butts off isn't going to be a blessing in disguise.

One reason the Europeans are off the deep end is that freak heatwave they had some years back. Imagine 80 F and they start dropping like flys.
The English don't seem so pertrubed by the return of vineyards to Britian, something highly unusual since Roman occupation times when Wine Grapes grew everywhere in the British Isles.

I found a news story where Russian weather researchers were PO'ed because the recent Global temp surveys deleted data from Russian weather stations that recorded much lower temps than those chosen for inclusion in the survey. Had those readings been included the Global temp figures would have been much lower.
 
One of the favorite oddity's spread to the tourist that come to Alaska has the US. Government guides telling them about the retreat of the glaciers due to global warming. I went along and had to ask them, how come other glaciers here in Alaska are growing? Does this mean only this part of the State, experience global warming? :D

Al, that nails it! They only wish to tell one side of the story. The look on the faces of the guides must have been comical!

Just last week I saw a statement in a local newspaper running an AP piece. They mentioned the loss of a large area of arctic ice due to "global warming" a couple of years ago. If memory serves, it was something like 500,000 square miles that melted. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

ONE YEAR LATER ALL OF THAT ICE HAD RETURNED TO THAT AREA. AND THE NEWS DID NOT TOUCH THE STORY!!! No joyful sounds were uttered.

If it melted due to global warming, then it returned due to global cooling.

That information was not included in the AP story last week.

When I was a boy, the same kind of people tried to blame man for the coming ice age due to some of the same currently used accusations, use of fossil fuels etc, and it was forbidden to disagree with them because it was SCIENCE!

Sorry folks, you have to tell both sides of the story, selective use of information for the purpose of manipulation and control is called PROPAGANDA.
