What about Chrome-moly barrels?

Somebody want to tell Pete the carbon fouling is done after maybe an inch.
Now we have carbon throughout the barrel? Baked on wax?
Is it not interesting that in the entire spectrum of shooting forums there is exactly one person elaborating on these phenomenon, including more than a few gunsmiths?
