If you take a large bell (a ships bell) and you tap it and after it stops ringing you strike it hard do the sound waves travel at the same rate?

Derek, gonzo, mr nobody, no offense was intended, it's obvious they needed to wheel out their best and brightest as the wizard of OZ is playing on tbs and the cast couldn't leave the set. martin lol

martin,

it really wasn't me. i was driving a train home when this all happened. i can post up federal proof. i was on a train and i don't have a iphone anymore. you see i fear our government and refuse to buy a rifle that i have to fill papaer work on period anymore. i do face to face perchases anymore and i use a different name for that. i would not and will not use anybodies name but the one i post under. to me that is less than american to be who ever did that is less than american and deserves to to be shot at high noon by the best rimfire has to offer.

derek, i'm just happy you giving the tribe your expertise, they obviously need all the help they can get. problem is it won't be me, their bad behavior resulted in all the tuning threads being pulled. martin

Shenanigans!

Howdy folks,
I would encourage everyone to sign in. Then you will be able to see all of the threads that have been deleted by Martin Hammond. If you are looking at the forum without being signed in, you are missing a lot. Simply look at the month of November. Go back a few pages, the phrase "Thread deleted by Martin Hammond" shows up a LOT!

This is one example of a thread that was going just an few hours ago....

thank you benchresters

Don't take my word for it, PLEASE SIGN IN AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!

Martin can't delete the fact that he deleted the threads. That seems to stay. He seems to have a standard operating procedure, that eventually involves deleting his posts. Again, don't take my word for it, sign in and see for yourselves. Maybe I read something wrong.

Martin said this:

"their bad behavior resulted in all the tuning threads being pulled. martin"

Hogwash!!!! He pulled his own threads. Again, please sign in, and see for yourselves.

404tbang, you were one of the main reasons the tuning threads got pulled, and that's a right i chose to exercise. lol

Martin...
I put my Meyers 5C back on my Turbo. It's a .900 x26 inches and this time i used a light 4.95 0z Harrel tuner. I turned down one of my 8.6 oz harrels to 4.95 oz and gave it a try. I'm just now testing and trying to get the slower round the same as the faster..... but you deleted my thread, lol.

I want to go back ad test my .850 Lilja to... but i'm lost without my instructions!!~! homeless in Texas - joe

Agreed. This is just getting to borderline stupidity. I honestly don't know why there must be so many threads with regards to tuners that say the same damn thing again and again...

it's winter and it's fun!!

I would agree if there weren't so many rude posts attacking people and getting off topic... That, and I go cross-eyed trying to keep up with the tuner topics :)

Yet, you say others pulled those threads!

404tbang, you were one of the main reasons the tuning threads got pulled, and that's a right i chose to exercise. lol

I am surprised to see you say that Martin. You have tried to say others pulled the tuning threads. Your were the one who said this:

"don't pull the plug on tuning
last year the threads on tuning were pulled. this along with ammo testing is the most viewed and commented on. clip wings and admonish when needed but do not stop discussion on tuning."

Posted and started in this thread.

Well, I just went and checked that link to make sure it worked, got this message:

So we will do it this way. Posted and started in this thread:

Folks, again, sign in so you can see how much stuff Martin has deleted. It really is amazing. Don't take my word for it, please sign in and see for yourselves.

It is difficult to argue that it is wrong to pull the threads on tuning, and then pull the threads on tuning (along with almost every thread started in a month or so) and try to have credibility.

MARTIN IS ARGUING WITH MARTIN!!!

I pointed out your propensity for deleting threads in the last thread you deleted. I quoted from Tom C. a comment about you putting a book out.

I said this regarding you putting a book out:

"I would buy it, but it would seem like a waste of money, because it would just end up deleting itself."

Apparently, according to you, my post was the reason you deleted the thread.

YOU PROVED MY ARGUMENT!

I stand behind the posts I have made, or I would not have made them. If I have said something terribly wrong, I will correct it.

Please don't try to argue that this is a personal attack. I have posted your own words, which contradict your own words. All comments that I have made are self evident. Let the folks who read this judge for themselves.

Greg

P.S. Gordon, I apologize for my part in hijacking this thread. I have tried to post comments to Martin in his threads, but, well, if he cannot counter an argument, he deletes the thread. Again, sorry.

There used to be another guy on this forum who pulled ALL of his threads before he quit posting here, after having his account suspended for shenanigans. His buddy set up a new website for him to post on.

greg, just think about this for 5 minuets........ no one from any applied science has come to bill's defense on barrel vibration/tuning. not one from math, not one from physics, not one from engineering, just think for once. greg the thing about a book is an inside joke... I was prepared to present opinions on stocks, bedding, vibrations, harmonics not from me but from some of the most knowledgeable in their field, and we found it's not worth the agravation. and this involved work from ohio, carolina, california, texas, new york and pa. not one thing from me. but you and a few others made it impossible. martin

How can you pull your threads after having an account suspended. You can't log in. That's an ignorant statement.

Howdy,
Steve, with absolutely no offense intended, that is factually incorrect, some threads were deleted, but not all. I just looked up kathy in the search function here and got a bunch of hits. I still come back and look stuff up sometimes. I will post the following link, you are actually in it.

Bill didn't delete all of his threads.
