Testing vs tunning vs poa vs poi

Here is part of a target I fired today testing 2 different speeds and trying to get the tuner in the ballpark. 16 and 17 are one ammo that obviously the rifle didn't like. I then switched back to the other speed and shot bull #18. After that I started shooting the rest of the bulls working in reverse order until I used up what was left of that box of ammo. I saved 4 rounds for shooting over the chrono at 50 yds.

My X count is bad but I think/hope that's just me having NO experience shooting a decent gun. Hopefully my rifle doesn't get the gremlins between now and Saturday and maybe I can shoot my best to date score [ which is pretty bad unfortunately ].

Up to now I have only done full turns on the tuner. How do you decide if one setting is really superior to another if the wind is blowing a little bit ? Should I do half turns or quarter turns next or ??

Thanks
Ray

Can you define the term "pattern". I original took this to mean the way the shots were distributed in a group. Another poster led me to believe you were just using the terms "pattern" and "group" interchangeably. In your post to Ray you told him to try and "get your patterns better". What really does the term "pattern" refer to?
