I rented a .240 Weatherby reamer and headspace gauges from Elk Ridge Reamers just last month.

Rent or buy a reamer... He shouldn't have to take off any threads, but will have to run a reamer deeper if it is just a short headspace issue. Some have had good luck reaming short chambered barrels by hand. Why did you need a new barrel in the first place?

use your finger I stack a couple of patches at a time and dribble some sweets out on the top patch then rub it in with my finger. I then place one patch on the jag and run it through the barrel. Works for me.

I don't believe they have email. The only way I have been able to order muzzle breaks was on the phone. It is worth the phone call just to talk to them. (Maybe not from Australia though)

I've had 2 of them go bad... ...my brother also had one go bad. RCBS will likely tell you to send it back to them and they will send another one to you. IIRC it took a few weeks turnaround time.
