    Scope rings...high vs offset

I'm taking a plunge into the most expensive scope I ever purchased. Leupold 45x. As by my previous post I'm concerned about rings. Currently my face is touching the stock using a weaver T36 with rings that are .6 tall (base to bottom of ring or if measured to centerline of scope 1.1) in need...

seeking some advise on a new rifle purchase.....

I guiess this "is" the ideal rifle : Model 12 Benchrest in 6BR ( Duel port/single shot) Price is kinda beyond my $1k mark and I need to order it (wait time) That leaves me with a repeater in Savage heavy 12 series or a Remington 700 repeater. Caliber ? .223 / .22-250 / .308 seam to be...

seeking some advise on a new rifle purchase.....

My local club has a center fire factory BR match (no custom nothing) no weight limit. This is for score 1 shot per ground hog target 100_200yds. I'm considering a Remington .223 700 5r. Only because it seams to have one of the better barrels on an OEM varmint rifle. Good choose ? Better...

pro shot cleaning rod& hoen bronze brush problem.....

Butches bore shine. Patches are fine. The brushes require a excessive amount of effort to get through. The rod is deflecting rubbing the rifleing. I will try different brushes and get the bore saturated first before brushing. Is. 260 the correct size for 6mm?

pro shot cleaning rod& hoen bronze brush problem.....

I need a powder dispenser looking at RCBS Charge master or Harrell thrower

Now that I have the Chargemaster is there any reason to hold onto my RCBS 5-0-5 beam scale ? Dies/cleaning rods/guides/presses/chargemaster/assrys ect has drained the $funds$ (Rifle expense starting to look small:eek:)

I need a powder dispenser looking at RCBS Charge master or Harrell thrower

Well I opted for the chargemaster, just got it. playing around 10 charges of n133 spot on every time and quick. This will be more versital for other reloading I do also. Now the million dollar question is a range battery. Reading the old forums looks like some of the wall warts output 12V...
