I used a Farley style rest at the ARA nats. It was real nice to have the joystick and the ability to move anywhere on the target quickly. They have one with extra travel for rimfire. Farley, Scott Hunter and others make one like this. I kind of like the way it worked.

that is correct. the lonestar bolt is the same one that remington uses on their new builds. the 25x has some subtle changes.

pentax pf80 ed is about the best bang for your buck. Get the 20 to 60 eypiece.

We're back from VHA. They are going to the heat treater today and the bolts are getting the handles on. I expect some to be ready this month as the bolts were complete as received minus our handle. These will be the Lonestar ones.

Is there only one locking lug on this action. From the picture, it appears as if its only the handle. A few people around here asked me and I had no idea. It is like the 52 or is there only one lug.

I agree with hensler, make the target half the size. That will spread it out, especially at 200 yards.

Regarding your flags, lots of rimfire flags are kind of smaller because you only have to see them at 50 yards. Put them out as far as you set the flags on a 200 yard range and make sure you can see them still. If they work well for rimfire and you can still see them, you should be good to go.
