My experience, I found out the hard way the 168's did not stay stable and keyholed, I think you will probably find the same thing will happen to you, I would stick with the 155's or the 175's. Good luck with the .308, you will have fun! Ron Tilley

Being ignorant to the mechanics of a bolt, how are they timed if the handle and bolt are one piece? are they generic and will work in any action? I have been told that a bolt and handle needs timed. I own 2 of your bolts with the handles welded on and they are perfect for me. thanks...

Mr Tooley, thanks for the reply, this is a mark5 action and has the hinged floorplate mag, it will pick up the case on the case head for about 1/2" then the bolt will slide over the case head and hang up on the body. thank you, Ron Tilley
