weatherby to ultra mag

I am wondering if anyone has built a .300 RUM on a Weatherby action? if so, was there any feeding issues? can they be fixed if there is feeding issues? thanks, Ron Tilley

I don't there would to much of a problem. The Wby boxes are center feed so a simple tweek of the feed lips towards the action should be all that's needed.

Mr Tooley, thanks for the reply, this is a mark5 action and has the hinged floorplate mag, it will pick up the case on the case head for about 1/2" then the bolt will slide over the case head and hang up on the body. thank you, Ron Tilley

You may have to buy a 378 magazine box and follower and bottom load it like the 378's ...
