Mr Tuna
At least we know who Gene is and his track record for shooting, what's your's??? He's giving a good example, just in a little different way, but it must be nothing but BS according to you. Am I correct? )chill(
It is my understanding that our friend and fellow shooter Capt Lewis Beaudrot has returned Home, Safely from the Desert Sands. I want to "Thank You" and "Welcome you Home" and hope to see you soon. Essayons!
Doing it
the way you describe, should be no problem. Brass or bronze brush won't hurt a thing unless you try and wear them out doing it. Some people will even use a little steel wool to clean the carbon ring. I prefer the brush method when I feel there is a need.
Weight
I have the 1"-11 mm set and the 1" - 3/8 style and both sets come in at 2oz for each set. They are working on a new style made out of composit material to cut the weight down to under 1oz.
Yes
This happened to a fellow shooter in Tennesse 2 season's ago. He owned a Calfee Turbo that had this happen to it. Had to have a new barrel installed on it.:mad:
Thank You
Macky and Polly for all the hard work and dedication you've put into this game, hope to see you on the Range sometime this year. Congrats to Dan and Dawn!
Martin
Your last post is incorrect about slow speed ammo. Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring if you are looking for slower ammo, Bob Collins would be the one to contact. He usually gets the slower ammo in his stock (1060 and below) when the new shipments arrive. Have a Gday!
