BAT - getting bolt to slide easier

Another product that my help is Eezox. While it goes on wet it is a dry lube which does not leave a dust collecting film. For a little more information on it, look at the technical artical section on www.accurateshooter.com

    Harrell press spent primer catch

I have seen folks apply velco to the press body and use a old style camera film container with the opposite velco on it. It may require notching the container a bit to get it situated so it will catch all the primers as they exit a different velocity. Easy to remove, for emptying and...

To your concern about Proof Positive issue, Dewey has brought out a line of Aluminum jags and adapters that will address your concern. The brass rod tip is far enough back that you patch and solvent should not be an issue. DanO

    Removing Barrel From Browning A-Bolt

I have just finished working on a A-Bolt and found it to have 32 TPI and some kind of thread locker on it. Also found the recoil lug to be glued on to the barrel. This combination may explain the stripped statements. DanO

    Barrel Id?

I am trying to identify the manufacturer of a barrel blank. It is stamped K1788, it also has a 6 stamped seperately which I confirmed to be 6 grooves. It is a SS barrel, with a HV contour @ 28" OAL. This is the least amount of info I have seen on a barrel to date, and have never seen the K1788...

    presses

One disadvantage of having different presses in play for any one rifle/barrel/die combination is that the die set-up may not enable equal ram travel because of the press top thickness. For BR keeping everything repeatable aids in reducing variables. DanO
