    Rifle comparison

Hello All, Well seems to me these guys might have been doing this for little while now. ARG Records Now how hard would it be to offer shooters the opportunity to do this at a regular match? Shoot 5, 5 shot groups and post the results....... Would be interesting to say the least. Roger

    Ula

I've got two ULA Single shots. not a bad little action and the only real problem I ever had with one was the set screw that holds the cocking peice on the firing pin kept comming loose. A little red lock tight fixed that problem. Roger

    Barrel length vs velocity

Well, I have seen many of my bullets fly to the target. I usually pick them up before they hit their zenith, and I can follow them to the target if the lighting is right. And I assure you, i have a clue how to set my scope up. It really comes down to the lighting as far as I have seen. I...

    Barrel length vs velocity

I've talked to a few other shooters about this and some can see it some can't. I watch my bullets all the time. I have since I was a kid. The best way is to is to get all set up to shoot the target and then just move off the target and fire into the berm. If the light is right you can watch...

    thinking about my new barrel.

Ahhh I see what you mean. But, when I tune I start right off with the base tuner and the bloop. my next step is to add the 1oz weight. Then the 2oz and so on. Then I'll check either side of the best weight with the 1/2oz weight to see if one is better still. If so I'll use it. Roger

    thinking about my new barrel.

crb, The aluminum weights are not trim. The flat one without female threads is the 1/2oz weight and the larger aluminum one with the female threads is the 1oz weight. Both can be used for tuning. And I have tried both procedures, adding weight and removing weights. And ended at the same...
