Boyd Allen This isn't the same as RWS Target. But I tried some 8 lots of RWS R-50 this years and found two of 8 lots to out shoot any Eley I have ever had. I shot my two highest Aggs. ever with. Scott

OK here's me just thinking out loud. I shot some BR.22 about 23 years ago. I always shot R50 had the best luck with it back then. Now let's fast forward about 20 years I started shooting again. But this time I look around nobody shooting R50. Ninety % of the people are shooting Black box...

Adam I think we all know Lapua has great ammo also. I think its just nice to have a third choice now maybe if the RWS R50 works out, Now that we have alot more lots to test from. I think Bob is trying to pretest the ammo also. Scott

If it was me I was going to what your thinking of doing I would go with the 1907 barrel and action. It will work better with the barrel turner. But that just IMO. Scott

The 1907 is going to be the lightest. The trigger will adjust down to 2oz. on both. They both are single shot guns.

I would go with the Anschutz if it was me. I spend more time shooting and not having to trick it up to get it to shoot. I would think the Anschutz has the better barrel and trigger already. Scott
