    I use solder wire held inside the hub with ordinary glue. You can use a small bit of tape to get it right before you glue. Works great.

    Oil or Grease ?

    Dick... put a little grease on the cocking piece threads where it screws into the bolt body. If you didn't have any this past weekend that explains why you didn't win :)!

    got my new Ivy rods today

    I have 4 2 with the small dia. handles and 2 with the large diameter. I like them all. Smooth, easy to keep clean, no coatings to peel like all of my coated rods did eventually. Best thing since sliced bread. --Greg

    30br-30ppc.....30ppc-30br

    Eddie... check out IBS webpage, match results, group, 2008, 200-300 IBS Group Nationals in Weikert, PA. 2nd and 3rd places for light and heavy gun agg was Dean Breeden and Hal Drake, both shooting 30 BR's in both weight classes. They do work sometimes.

    "Mitchell Mausers", need info

    Imho the nicest Mausers ever made are some done for the various South American countries like Argentina, Venezuela, etc. I have a mint Argentine that is just the most beautiful piece of polished and blued steel and walnut I have ever seen. Shoots up a storm too. ==greg
