    NBRSA BOD Meeting

    Exactly Jim, the only thing stationary backer will prove is that the extra shot did( I own it) or did not(it's a crossfire and I don't own it) come from my rifle. --Greg

    Bore scopes and barrel cleaning

    I think the question is more, "does it shoot worse dirty, how much worse and when does unacceptable benchrest accuracy trail off without cleaning?" Didn't j schmidt shoot his pending nbrsa world record without cleaning during the entire 100 yard agg? I believe so. But, that was a .30 cal rifle...

    Maine State 100-200

    Wayne, Rain stopped early Sat morning, normal wind and sun by mid day. Sunday was cooler, low 70's mid day and mostly sunny with more wind early than late. Switchy and at time tough to figure out. All in all very good. Lee Euber won VfS grand, Mike Veilleux Hunter grand and can't remember VH...

    Nightforce Benchrest Scopes

    Charles, I agree that both BR markets are small. But, it amazes me to see how many non-benchresters have March, Nightforce or Leup scopes. I know of 4 individuals that have never shot a BR match of any kind that have 6 Marches between them. --greg

If so, and you have it is there any way you would be so kind as to copy or scan it and email to me? If so let me know and I'll get...

    The IBS Scoring Reticle

    Wayne, your implication is astounding!!! Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but to suggest that the years of hard work and dedication by the score committee was flawed is utterly amazing! --Greg

    Butch Lambert -- Drop port to .30BR?

    Charles, I agree, Henrikson reamers are the best. I have two and each took the better part of a year to get, but I knew that and was willing to wait. I moved away from another brand because of dimension problems with 2..specifically freebore dimensions that were undersized and would never let...

    VFS= Which scope?

    Considering your $ constraint, a Leup 40 or 45X competition. Bullet proof warranty, 1/8th min adjustments and good optics. You will need, imho, the warranty sooner or later as it will give you poi shifts eventually. I had a nightforce and had all kinds of problems with the big front objective...

    That first barrel

    Pete, sometimes seems that way. BUT, my first barrel was a great one but I had a brand new Weaver 36 that help POA very well. Sometime after I screwed on my second barrel the scope began to fail. Needless to say I blamed the barrel at first but alas it was the glass. I had that weaver...

    Will this work in a .30BR?

    IMHO, don't try to reinvent the wheel here. Stick with a good custom J4 jacket 112-125 gr bullet that your barrel likes. --greg
