Charles, I agree that both BR markets are small. But, it amazes me to see how many non-benchresters have March, Nightforce or Leup scopes. I know of 4 individuals that have never shot a BR match of any kind that have 6 Marches between them. --greg

Considering your $ constraint, a Leup 40 or 45X competition. Bullet proof warranty, 1/8th min adjustments and good optics. You will need, imho, the warranty sooner or later as it will give you poi shifts eventually. I had a nightforce and had all kinds of problems with the big front objective...

Pete, sometimes seems that way. BUT, my first barrel was a great one but I had a brand new Weaver 36 that help POA very well. Sometime after I screwed on my second barrel the scope began to fail. Needless to say I blamed the barrel at first but alas it was the glass. I had that weaver...

Talk to Andy Buzzell. He borrowed one. My take away is they work but are expensive.

IMHO, don't try to reinvent the wheel here. Stick with a good custom J4 jacket 112-125 gr bullet that your barrel likes. --greg
