    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Fine with me Carp, but the Indiana bunch knows him, knows where he lives and don't really need to talk to him on the range. When he used to come to Bluegrass, he couldn't move for the people around him. My experience with Bill is he's willing to joke around, quite a bit more than you probably...

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

You know, I never noticed the little black mustache. Carp, from what I've talked to you in person, you seem to be a pretty good guy. But you seem to have a Calfee thorn under your saddle. I don't think you shoot a Calfee rifle and I believe you said at one time you wouldn't shoot one. So...

What did you retire from Tom. You act like it's related to mining.

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Al, I'm curious too. I think you told me that you were asking Bill to barrel a rifle for you. Did he agree to do it? I can't imagine him not re-barreling one of his own guns. I'm sure I could ask him but I didn't get involved in your business when you were e-mailing back and forth, so I...

Hmm, that's almost copying from the Bible, but not quite.

I don't bicker. I take the high road.

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Maybe Wilbur just needs to start a "bickering and scorekeeping" post every so often. This one is the worst I've seen in a while. You know, it's like a fire. If you can't put it out, just contain it.

    beaufort, hate to say it.

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Martin, You have to ask a question to get an answer. All I've seen you do is make statements.

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Tom, you could have changed it instead of getting it right off the internet site. But I stand corrected. Your option not to use it was correct. I guess. You don't get that often.

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Probably not. But for example : I saw three buddies drinking in the bar. It was James Pappas, Lynn, and Bill Calfee. The comma after Lynn is the Oxford. It's supposed to be optional, but it never came down that way to me if I missed one.

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Nope, Tom, that was decided many years ago. I made that mistake...once. Spelling and English criticism (GSP as I like to say) is taboo. Take for what it is, and if you can't intepret it, just do the best you can. By the way, I think you missed an Oxford comma in one of your posts several...

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Amazingly enough Martin, science is arguable. I love to watch the conspiracy theory stories behind the Kennedy shooting. Now the people on these panels are not nuts; they're leaders in their fields, forensics, medicine, etc. yet they disagree on what happened and they have basis for it. Each...

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Carp, He probably didn't know you. He's senile. You know you're pretty good ole' boy but man you're confusing sometimes. Take a good look at this: 'any pre-concieved idea of any outcome can and possibly will maybe determine an outcome." Now that's major waffling or just saying "I just...

    von ahrens tuner.

James, I've asked the same question because according to what I've heard it's not just the weight but the placement of the weight that matters on the Van Ahrens. Supposedly, it was made to have a significant number of possible variations with steel and aluminum and each one is different. I...

    Calfee Muzzle devise

I know Martin, but that's just a character flaw you have and we don't hold it against you. We embrace you for it.

    Calfee Muzzle devise

Yeah, he was never in the tuner business, but I'm pretty sure he made some. Whether or not he had somebody else make them to his specs or not, I couldn't tell you. I do know people were willing to pay him at least $100 for one when you could have them made for $25 and that seemed a little...

    Constant bickering and "score keeping"

Carp, I ask you, if score is kept in a battle of wits and there's no real rules, Who wins? Both sides because they both claim victory. So, "the scorer" does matter. You know you could probably call Bill Calfee and he would talk to you...if you're deemed worthy.

    Calfee Muzzle devise

I think you can find some patents from the '20's. We've been through this before. It's difficult to read what the design is unless you have drawings but the intent was the same. In the early 90's Bill started showing up with these tuners, the ones in the early nineties pictures, at matches...
