You are not listening. What you propose is not safe. You will need an extra bolt at a minimum, AND a gunsmith to headpace the extra barrel and bolt.

That's a nice touch. Most all the BR type rests are bulky to say the least, but this one looks to store away much easier.

It looks VERY well thought out. I've been shooting off an original Seb for about 4 years, and like it. But, as is pointed out in the video, the tension adjustment is a bit of a pain. Depending on price and availability, I would be interested in one.

First off, the bolt won't work for both cartridges, as the 7.62X39 has a head diameter of .440" or thereabouts. The .223 has a head diameter of .378". Second, a plastic set screw to hold the barrel in place when working with pressures in the 55,000 to 60,000 PSI range would be an accident...

That's a tough one to answer. The REAL stockmakers take months to fashion a piece of wood into a finished product, while a fully inletted stock from McMillan might not need any extra inletting at all. I'd say it really depends on the outcome desired along with the quality of the inletting done...

I don't think Jackie is doing anything special here. It's quite easy to get 31.5grs into the case. Fills the case neck about half way up using a 8 inch drop tube and a slow trickle...
