I've got some Hoppes gun oil here and some Eezox but wasn't sure if I should put anything on the firing pin or spring. Concerned about it gumming up.

    40x rimfire bolt cleaning.

I'm going to be pulling the firing pin assembly out of my 40x rimfire to do a good cleaning. I was thinking about using some non chlorinated break clean to spray it down and wipe it off. Is this a bad idea? Also should I lube the pin and spring with anything before reinstall? Thanks

    Tuner setting?

I've got a 1959 40x with a factory barrel that has been recrowned and have a Harrells tuner I want to use on it. I also have one of the longer weights for it . What's a good way of finding the right setting? It was suggested to try Purdy Prescription as a starting point. So I read up a bit...

    Electronic targets:

I thought I seen they were only going to use them to replace moving backers? If so it doesn't have to be accurate , it just needs to record the amount of shots on target as they are still scoring the card manually. I think they can be great for fclass in the respect it helps keep older shooters...

30BR Bushing Bump Neck Sizing Die ?

I'm not sure about the whidden dies but I think they do. I know they do in a Harrells die. Harrell are great to deal with. I didn't have any fired brass to send them so I bought a #3 30br die and they said they would swap it out if needed once I got the rifle together. I've also bought rings...

    Steel bullet dies?

After seeing Al's post of his bullet testing, I was wondering what the major disadvantages of steel dies are. I'm wanting to get into making my own bullets for my 30BR and am debating between 7ogive or 10ogive using a 1" jacket. So what I'm wondering is will a steel die make as good of a...
