    Browning 3006 long action

The action will handle it but if you move to one of the chamberings you mention, they use a different size bolt head than the your 06.

    Prayers for Mom

Michael, as already mentioned, I don't think anyone can tell you and your family what you need to do. That is something y'all need to decide. Just know you have many people praying for your mom and your family. My wife and I have a devotion every nite. Tonite is my turn and just know that I will...

    savage trigger question

Willie, give Lisa a call to set up an appointment. It will most likey be a couple of months minimum before they will want it but you can probably go ahead and set up a date that will work for you. If you wait till this season is over and not made an appointment, you may not get your action to...

    savage trigger question

I hope that wait isn't too long. Got a dual port target action that is supposed to go to them this month for a T & T, plus the Evolution trigger, and bolt fluting. I'm just waiting for Lisa to call for it. Also waiting for the SSS HBR laminate stock from them also. As far as the backlog, I made...

    Depose Cannon

I'm guessing you got the pics from here: http://tablebeastheavyindustries.com/tablebeast/auctions/depose.html It looks like a "booby trap" type device as the website states or some type of signal cannon set up on a perimeter maybe?? Interesting piece for sure.;)

    What am I doing wrong...AOL?

If you run the modified case throught a f/l die, you will not be able to get the bullet into it to take your oal measurement. You can size the modified casing though and use sandpaper/emeryclothe to remove the brass from inside of the case mouth so your bullet will move freely in and out of the...

    What am I doing wrong...AOL?

I too have used these tools for years with no problems. How far is the bullet being pushed back in the case after closing the bolt on the dummy round? Is your dummy round casing new, fired, sized? Scratch that last question, we must have been typing at the same time. :o

    Dublin IBS Score Match

Sorry I couldn't be there Jim. Between Mothers Day and a funeral that I was an honorary pallbearer, I couldn't make it. I was expecting more than 11 shooters. I'm sure Mothers Day weekend kept a few home. Do you know the date of the next IBS shoot there?

    Allen bolts for a Ruger??

If you take the factory slotted head screws with you to a Fastenall, you may be able to match them up thread/length/diameter with allen head screws. If they don't have them I'm sure they could get them.

    re loading supplies questions

The Rockchucker kit is a great beginner kit. I started with it many, many years ago. I still use that press. I have a different opinion of kits. I would recommend the kit. It has everything you need to get you cranking out reloads right now. All you need is brass, bullets, powder, and primers...

    Wolf primers?

Jerry, I think it's a problem with not seating the primers fully. I shot some wolf sr/223 in a club match last weekend and had 3 fail to fires. I had shot this gun all week long working up a load for this match with no ftf's. I always made sure to fully seat the primers during load workup. After...
