Browning 3006 long action

Hi:

I Have a 15 year old Browning A bolt chamberd in 3006. I plan to rebarrel it and am thinking of moving up to a stronger 30 cal. Will this action handle the pressure of rechambering to 300 Win or 300 Weatherby?

The action will handle it but if you move to one of the chamberings you mention, they use a different size bolt head than the your 06.

with that in mind you may consider rebarreling with a 30-06 IMP., or a .338-06, or .35 Whelen. All .30-06 based cartridges, all more umph. If that's what you're looking for?
