Looks like you have lengthened the throat by going from .025" to .10", which is the wrong direction I believe.........now if you made a typo error and really meant .010", I would say that is about right for a 50-55gr at 1.5 degree leade angle...................may be why you were not getting any...

That still should be do-able I believe, .025-.030" silver soldered shimming between extractor ring and bolt nose recess should easily do the job, Ive done .020" shimming for .308-PPC Rem. extractors with no problem without rebushing. If shimming didnt work for whatever reason I would go to...

Why not shim the back side of the magnum extractor like we do with .308 size extractors used for PPC size cases that are short on grip in some Rem. 700 actions, simple easy $5 fix...............Don
